NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — July 12 is Cow Appreciation Day, and fast food chain Chick-fil-A is asking customers to put their best hoof forward for a chance at a free meal.

The company, which opened their largest location in New York City last year, is offering free meals to all customers dressed up like a beloved bovine next Tuesday. According to Chick-fil-A, customers can be dressed “head to hoof” in cow attire, or simply sport a cow accessory to be eligible for the promotion.
