Dog Takes Owner To Dead Body In Brooklyn's Brower Park
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police are investigating after a man walking his dog in Brooklyn found a dead woman's body in the grass Saturday afternoon.
Kendale Golson told CBS2's Dave Carlin he was walking his dog in Brower Park when his dog dragged him over to some bushes.
"At first I didn't know if it was a lady or not," he said.
Gold said he did not realize the woman was dead until he tried to wake her up and she didn't respond.
"I figured maybe they were asleep," Golson said.
According to officials, the woman was found with a blue rag over her face and a white sheet over her body.
Police say the woman was 35 years old. Her identity has not been disclosed.
An investigation is ongoing.
