Series Of Violent Robberies Against Food Delivery Workers In Brooklyn
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police are urging food delivery workers to be on alert in Brooklyn after a series of violent robberies.
Investigators have released images of the suspects.
Police said up to four men have been targeting the workers since last month and have struck at least seven times.
The NYPD said the delivery workers have variously reported having their cash, cellphones, and even their food delivery orders stolen after violent confrontations.
One of the workers said they were sprayed in the face with an unknown chemical before being robbed.
No arrests have been made.
