Leslie Jones Website Hack Probed By Homeland Security After Nude Photos, Passport Leaked

LOS ANGELES (CBSNewYork/AP) -- U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement and Homeland Security investigators are looking into the hack of actress-comedian Leslie Jones' website.

ICE said Thursday that its New York office is investigating the hack that exposed personal information -- including the actress' passport and driver's license -- along with intimate photos of the "Saturday Night Live'' star.

A video of the gorilla Harambe, who was killed in May after a young boy fell into his enclosure at the Cincinnati Zoo, was also posted.

The site was taken offline after the hack.

ICE Public Affairs Officer Rachael Yong Yow said the agency does not release information related to active investigations.

The Ghostbusters'' actress was also targeted on Twitter last month with a barrage of racial slurs and obscene photos. She called on the social networking service to do more to curb harassment, and Twitter banned several users as a result.

Jones said the messages were deeply hurtful and brought her to tears.

Following Jones' harassment, Twitter announced two new settings that will allow users to control what they see in their feeds and what notifications they receive.
