WATCH: Victor Cruz Scores First Touchdown Since 2014
Ryan Mayer
New York Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz has struggled with injuries over the course of the past two seasons. A calf injury and then a torn patella tendon forced him to miss 10 games in 2014 and all of last season, so the question was how would he look in his return to the field?
Well, he's doing just fine, and proved it in catching his first touchdown pass since Week 3 of the 2014 season.
Of course, with the return of Cruz to the end zone came the return of his signature TD celebration: the salsa.
Cruz finished with four catches for 34 yards and the TD. Cruz, rookie receiver Sterling Shepard, and tight end Larry Donnell were the ones on the receiving end of the three Eli Manning touchdown passes on the day and it looks like a solid receiving corps paired with the talented Odell Beckham Jr.
