'The Trend' with Rebecca Granet: Snooki & JWOWW Are 'Moms With Attitude'

On this edition of "The Trend," host Rebecca Granet sat down with Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi and Jenni "JWOWW" Farley to talk about their new season of "Snooki & JWOWW: Moms with Attitude" on go90.

The celebrity moms, who rose to fame on MTV's hit show, Jersey Shore, say it wasn't too difficult to transition from their partying days at the shore to being parents.

"I feel like we just aged the same as our viewers and our fans," said Jenni. "You go through the early 20s, you go through the grind, and the fun, and being a degenerate, and the mistakes...but you just grow older and you mature and you learn from your lessons...the blessing of being on the show was that it gave us our husbands and now our children."

But parenting has its unique challenges, including finding ways to keep the romance alive.

"It's hard with two toddlers," said Nicole. "You don't have time for it and you need to make time because if not, you're just going to have sexual tension and fight with each other, so me and Jionni [her husband] are actually trying to find that balance."

In their show, Nicole and Jenni navigate parenthood one day at a time while learning some DIY tricks along the way.

"We geared up with Awestruck and the go90 app," said Nicole. "So it's basically all viral, which is great for us because as moms, you can't really sit down to watch a show when it's on TV because your kids are going crazy. It's the perfect platform for moms, because when the kids are taking a nap, you just go on your cell phone and watch it."

And even though motherhood has changed them, Nicole and Jenni say they haven't lost their fun, playful personalities that fans have come to know and love.

"We just wanted to show millennial moms that we're still cool," said Nicole. "We can still be hot and be hot messes. We're still us but we're more responsible, I guess, when it comes to being moms and taking care of our kids."
