Madame Tussauds Wax Museum Separates Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie Figures

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork/AP) -- It seems that wax "Brangelina" are through, too.

On Wednesday, a day after news broke that actress Angelina Jolie filed for divorce from husband Brad Pitt, Madame Tussauds in London acknowledged the couple's separation by officially separating Jolie and Pitt's figures on their museum floor.

Though together for 12 years, Pitt and Jolie only wed in August 2014. They married privately in the French hamlet of Correns in Provence with their children serving as ring bearers and throwing flower petals. They announced the ceremony days later.

The couple has six children together: Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, and twins Knox and Vivienne.

An attorney for Jolie Pitt, Robert Offer, said Tuesday that Jolie had filed for the dissolution of the marriage. Offer said the decision was made "for the health of the family."

At her concert at MSG Tuesday night, Adele dedicated her show to Brad and Angelina.

Adele told the crowd that while she doesn't know the former couple, "it feels like the end of an era."
