Woman Falls To Death From Building Near Hudson Yards

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A woman fell to her death from a building near Hudson Yards on the West Side of Manhattan Sunday morning, police said.

Around 8:45 a.m., police were called to the building at 449 W. 37th St., near Tenth Avenue, the NYPD said.

Officers found Elena Gladkikh, 27, lying unconscious and responsive on the ground, police said. She had fallen from a building, CBS2 has learned.

Gladkikh was taken to Bellevue Hospital Center, where she was pronounced dead, police said.

The New York City Medical Examiner's office will conduct an autopsy to determine more about Gladkikh's death, police said.
