NYPD: Man With Gun Threatens To Slap Woman On E Train

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police are searching for a man who allegedly threatened to slap a woman on the subway and displayed a handgun.

The 33-year-old female victim was sitting on a Manhattan-bound E train near Broadway and Roosevelt Avenue when a man sat next to her and threatened to slap her, police said.

The woman moved to another part of the train, but he followed her. He then lifted his shirt and revealed the handle of a firearm, police said.

The woman got off the train, while the man stayed on.

Police said he was described as a 6-foot-tall man in his 30s. He was wearing a black hat, green jacket, black jeans and black sneakers.
