Brian Billick On WFAN: Maybe Norv Turner Was Just Worn Out

NEW YORK (WFAN) -- So just what led to the sudden resignation of Vikings offensive coordinator Norv Turner on Wednesday?

That was one of the many topics Brian Billick discussed during his weekly appearance on Mike Francesa's WFAN show.

"It's rare, but it just might be that he was just flat emotionally worn out," the Super Bowl-winning coach and NFL Network analyst said.

Billick and Francesa also talked about the struggles of the Vikings' offense, Cam Newton's complaints about hits on him not being penalized and the Patriots-Browns trade involving linebacker Jamie Collins.
