Election 2016: How To Vote, Candidate Information For NY, NJ, Connecticut

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- America will elect its 45th president Tuesday, deciding between former secretary of state Hillary Clinton or billionaire businessman Donald Trump.

Polling places will close at 9 p.m. in New York state, including New York City. Registered voters are only allowed to vote at their designated polling place.

You can find your designated polling place by accessing the Online Poll Site Address Locator or by calling the Voter Phone Bank at 1.866.VOTE.NYC.

New York voters outside of New York City can find their designated polling place here.

Polls in New Jersey and Connecticut close at 8 p.m.

New Jersey voters can find their designated polling places by visiting the New Jersey Voter Information System website and entering their address.

Connecticut voters can find their designated polling place by entering their town, first name, last name and date of birth here.
