WATCH: WFAN 'Chalk Talk' With Ernie Accorsi

NEW YORK (WFAN) -- Former Giants general manager Ernie Accorsi said Wednesday night that of all the honors he has received over the years, being added to the Giants' Ring of Honor "tops them all."

Accorsi, former coach Tom Coughlin and former defensive end Justin Tuck will all be added to the Ring of Honor on Monday night, when the Giants host the Cincinnati Bengals.

"I've been in a lot of stadiums ... and most of them have these facades with names of great players and great coaches. ... I never in a million years thought my name would be up there," Accorsi told host Gary Myers during WFAN's "Chalk Talk" at the Adorama Theater.

Accorsi hired Coughlin and drafted Tuck, who both helped the Giants win two Super Bowls.

"It means a lot to go there with Tom Coughlin and Justin Tuck. And I don't mind having that third billing. I went into the Wake Forest Hall of Fame with Tim Duncan," Accorsi joked.

The Ring of Honor was unveiled at MetLife Stadium in 2010. The names of the men are prominently displayed during each Giants home game. The addition of Coughlin, Accorsi and Tuck brings the number of honorees to 42.
