NYPD: Taco Bell Employees Beaten, Stabbed Following Seating Kerfuffle In Queens

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police are searching for four suspects wanted in connection to an assault and stabbing at a Taco Bell in Queens last month.

According to police, five suspects assaulted two employees at a Taco Bell location on Atlantic Avenue in Woodhaven after being asked not to sit on counters inside the fast food restaurant.

One employee, a 22-year-old, was stabbed twice in the torso, police said. A 21-year-old employee had bruises to the face and body.

The 22-year-old was taken to Jamaica Hospital in serious, but stable condition, police said.

According to police, the suspects fled the scene in a black SUV taxi and were dropped off on Jamaica Avenue and 132nd Street.

The incident occurred on Oct. 16 at around 9:45 p.m.

Police arrested one suspect, Erickson Cepeda, 25, of Queens, in connection to the incident on Oct. 26.

The remaining suspects -- three men and one woman -- are believed to be between 22 and 28 years old, police said. Surveillance images of the suspects can be viewed above.
