54-Year-Old Man Beaten With Baseball Bat In The Bronx, Police Say

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police are searching for two men who allegedly beat a 54-year-old man with a baseball bat in the Bronx earlier this month.

According to police, a man believed to be in his early 20s  hit the 54-year-old repeatedly in the head and body after an argument became heated. A second man involved also punched and kicked the victim before the duo fled the scene.

The 54-year-old was taken to Lincoln Hospital with bruises and a right eye injury, police said.

The incident occurred in front of the Go Go Gadget Mobile & More store on Jesup Avenue at around 9:35 a.m. on Dec. 1.
