United Flight Lands Safely At Newark Airport After Report Of Possible Smoke In The Cockpit

NEWARK, N.J. (CBSNewYork) -- Emergency vehicles were requested to meet a United Airlines flight at Newark Airport early Thursday morning after a report of possible smoke in the cockpit.

Officials said United Flight 14 landed safely without incident and no injuries were reported.

The plane taxied all the way to the terminal and is currently parked at the gate. Officials followed it and then returned to their facility.

The flight was coming to Newark from Honolulu.
