Body Of Unidentified Male Recovered From Glen Cove Creek, Police Say

GLEN COVE, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) -- Nassau County police are investigating the discovery of a body in Glen Cove.

The body of the unidentified male was found in the waters of Glen Cove Creek around 7:30 p.m. Monday, according to police. The Glen Cove Harbor Patrol recovered the body with help from a Nassau County marine unit.

The county medical examiner's office will now work to identify the body and determine the cause of death.

The investigation is ongoing.
