Boat Goes Up In Flames, Sinks In Great South Bay
FIRE ISLAND, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) -- Police say a boat went up in flames in Long Island's Great South Bay, Tuesday as a couple and their two dogs were leaving Barrett Beach just east of Fire Island Pines.
The couple and their dogs were all wearing life jackets when they jumped into he water.
Another boater soon picked them up and a Suffolk County Marine Unite tried to put out the fire.
The boat eventually sank.
