Thieves Snatch $600 Bird From Saddle Brook Pet Store

SADDLE BROOK, N.J. (CBSNewYork) — Four men were caught on camera allegedly stealing an exotic bird in New Jersey.

Surveillance footage shows them inside NJ Exotic Birds in Saddle Brook.

The owner said the suspects cased the store one night, before taking the green turquoise ‘cheek.’

“The bird can be in a lot of danger,” Marilu Karachun said.

She was helping another customer at the counter when the $600 bird was taken.
