Showers are expected today for much of the area in the wake of a cold front that is now offshore, but is still hanging around. Off and on rain is expected. There could be some even stronger storms tonight, especially east of the city.

Temps stay cool topping off around 68-73°. No washout, but take the umbrella. Expect a few showers to linger into the morning Thursday before clearing out. Sun will return by afternoon and Friday is spectacular.
