1.7 Magnitude Earthquake Rattles Morris County, New Jersey

MORRISTOWN, N.J. (CBSNewYork) -- A magnitude 1.7 earthquake rattled Morris County, New Jersey Monday evening.

The United States Geological Survey says the quake struck approximately 1.7 miles from Morristown around 6:35 p.m.

There have been no reports of any injuries or damage.
