Federal Trial For Alleged Chelsea Bomber Set To Begin Monday

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) --Opening statements are set to begin in the federal trial of the suspected Chelsea Bomber.

Ahmad Khan Rahimi is facing several terrorism charges for allegedly setting off bombs in New York and New Jersey last year, injuring more than 30 people.

Rahimi was eventually captured in a shoot out with police in Linden, New Jersey.

Jury selection for the Manhattan trial ended Thursday.
