Police: Rapper Fetty Wap Arrested For DUI, Speeding After Brooklyn Drag Race

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Rapper Fetty Wap is facing charges after police say he was caught drag racing another driver in Brooklyn while intoxicated.

Wap, whose real name is Willie Maxwell, was pulled over just after 1 a.m. on the Gowanus Expressway. Police said they clocked him doing 100 mph in a 50 mph zone near Hamilton Avenue, 1010 WINS' Carol D'Auria reported.

Police said the 26-year-old Wap gave the officer an expired New Jersey license and was given a sobriety test, which he failed.

He's facing 15 charges including reckless endangerment, DUI and speeding.
