Several Animals Saved From House Fire In Westchester County
BRONXVILLE, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) – Several animals had to be saved from a house fire in Westchester County.
Flames broke out shortly before 4 p.m. Saturday inside a home on Hathaway Road in Bronxville.
Firefighters broke multiple windows in order to evacuate the house.
Afterward, there were about a dozen cages lined up on the lawn.
Fire officials told CBS2 most of the animals made it out alive, but one or two may have been killed.
The residents were not hurt.
