Man Dies After Car Slams Into YMCA In South Amboy, New Jersey
SOUTH AMBOY, N.J. (CBSNewYork) – A man has died following a dramatic crash in South Amboy, New Jersey.
A car slammed into the YMCA on John T. O'Leary Boulevard around 5 p.m. Monday.
Police said it appears one car's brakes failed, causing it to hit a second car. Then, one of the cars crashed into the side of the community center.
The man, identified as 48-year-old Benjamin Nararrete, was helping his 6-year-old daughter get into their car when he was hit. He died at the hospital.
Three other people were also injured.
