Mega Millions Jackpot Grows To $522 Million

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Tuesday night's Mega Millions jackpot was an estimated $522 million.

It's the fifth largest jackpot in Mega Millions history and if no one matches all five numbers plus the Mega ball, the jackpot will continue to grow.

The prize is so big, some people were going all in.

"I want to win!" Bronx resident Brian Cooper told CBS2's Marc Liverman. "I want all the money, one time."

Others all over the city say if they win, they'd spread the love.

"If I do win, I'll remember you and everyone around us," Manhattan resident Richi Perez said.

"Make sure myself is right, maybe give some to somebody else," said Brooklyn resident Rodrick Williams. "I believe in donating something to whoever, some kids, someone."

But there's nothing wrong with keeping a couple million for yourself.

"I would buy a nice Mercedes and also a mansion," said Astoria resident Fernando Seriano.

The jackpot was last won in Ohio on May 4. Tuesday's winning numbers were 1, 2, 4, 19, 29 and Mega Ball 20.

Best of luck to everyone playing!
