NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – A man suspected of peering into people’s windows on Staten Island has been arrested.

Police say he was caught on surveillance video walking through a family’s yard and looking into their windows multiple times on Jan. 3.
“I felt so violated, not knowing if this person was going to break into the house, not knowing if he’s a pedophile, a peeping Tom,” a woman named Mary told CBS2’s Scott Rapoport earlier this month.READ MORE: NJ TRANSIT Bus, Car Crash In Irvington Takes Out Power Poles
Mary said at one point, the man came face-to-face with her daughter.

Other residents in the Willowbrook neighborhood reported seeing the same man under peculiar and unnerving circumstances.
