Cab Loses Control, Jumps Curb On Upper East Side
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – A yellow cab jumped a curb and slammed into a tree near Central Park Thursday evening.
It happened on 77th Street and Fifth Avenue at about 5:10 p.m.
Firefighters tell CBS2 that one person ended up with a minor injury and was taken to a nearby hospital. That injury was to the driver, police added, and no other pedestrians were hurt in the crash.
It's not known yet why the driver lost control.
