Police: Shirtless Man Smashes MTA Bus Window With Cane
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – A 62-year-old man allegedly smashed the windshield of an MTA bus with his cane Thursday morning in the Bronx.
The BX2 bus was stopped at a red light near Grand Concourse and East 149th Street when it happened around 7:30 a.m.
Police said the suspect, 62-year-old Rusty Persons, was taken to the hospital for evaluation and charged with criminal mischief.
The bus driver and passengers were not injured.
