YONKERS, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) – A fire tore through two homes Wednesday in Yonkers.

Flames broke out around 8:40 p.m. at a home on Warburton Avenue and quickly spread to a neighboring house.

The fire also impacted Metro-North service for the morning commute.

The Hudson line experienced delays up to 45 minutes in both directions, and there was no northbound service out of Greystone or Glenwood.

There’s no word on what caused the fire.
