Con Edison Transformer Fire Takes Out Power In Queens
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – Nearly 500 Con Edison customers were left without power Tuesday night in Queens.
Residents spent the night in the dark on Linden Blvd. and 194th Street in the St. Albans section.
Several homes on the block lost power after an apparent transformer fire.
Service was expected to be restored by 1 a.m. Wednesday.
