NYC School Zone Speed Camera Enforcement Expansion Starts Thursday
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Speed cameras will soon keep a closer eye on New York City school zones, even after hours.
Starting Thursday, speed camera enforcement will expand from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday through Friday, all year-round.
The change is part of a new state law.
The city will also install speed cameras in many more school zones, from 140 to a maximum of 750.
