Argument Ends In Stabbing On Subway In Harlem

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - An argument between two subway passengers ended with one of them stabbing the other Friday afternoon.

It happened at around 1 p.m. on a northbound 4 train at 125th Street and Lexington Avenue station in Harlem.

Police say the suspect stabbed the 49-year-old man once in the abdomen with an unknown object then got off the train and ran.

The wounded victim stayed on the train and reported the incident at the next stop.

He was taken to Lincoln Hospital and is expected to survive.

The suspect is still at large. He's described as a black male who is about 5 feet 10 inches tall.
