Minor 1.3-Magnitude Earthquake Rumbles Mamaroneck

Mamaroneck, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) - A minor earthquake struck near Mamaroneck Monday night.

The 1.3-magnitude quake hit just west of Mamaroneck at 8:09 p.m.

Researchers say the epicenter of the quake was near Hickory Grove Drive East and Jason Lane.

No damage was reported.

This is not the only recent earthquake in the Hudson Valley. Last Thursday, a 1.1-magnitude quake struck near the Palisades in West Nyack.
