Instagram Starts Hiding Likes From Random Users

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - This week some Instagram users will notice a popular feature has disappeared from their feed.

The number of likes will soon be hidden from randomly selected Instagram posters in the United States

The change is already underway in other countries including Canada.

If you post an image, you will still see the likes, but other users won't.

Instagram's CEO says the test-run is being done to lessen the pressure to receive likes, especially for younger users.
