FDNY: 2 Retired Firefighters Die From 9/11-Related Illnesses
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- The New York City Fire Department is mourning the loss of two retired firefighters to 9/11-related illnesses.
Firefighter Richard Jones passed away Friday.
The FDNY says Jones retired in October of 2002 after 20 years on the job.
Also on Friday, Lt. Paul Deo Jr. passed away.
Deo served the department for 33 years.
