NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — The MTV Video Music Awards return to New York later this month, with a pandemic twist.
Chart-topping Grammy winners “The Weekend” and “Roddy Ricch” are set to perform, but instead of taking the stage at Barclays Center, events will be held outdoors at various locations around the city.
The location have not yet been announced.
Keke Palmer will host the Aug. 30 awards show.
Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande are the lead contenders with nine nominations a piece.
