Smithsonian's National Zoo Asks Public To Name Giant Panda Cub

WASHINGTON (CBSNewYork) -- The giant panda cub born at the Smithsonian's National Zoo in Washington needs a name.

The adorable male cub got his three-month checkup and is hitting all the milestones.

Since his birth was livestreamed in August, more than 1 million virtual visitors have tuned in to watch him grow.

Zoo officials are now asking the public to pick a name.

The winner will be announced on Monday.
