New Jersey Coronavirus: Outdoor Gatherings Now Limited To 25 Or Less

TRENTON, N.J. (CBSNewYork) -- Tighter restrictions take effect Monday in New Jersey to slow the spread of the coronavirus.

As of 6 a.m., outdoor gatherings must be limited to 25 people.

Exceptions may be granted for religious or political activities, funerals and wedding ceremonies.

Gov. Phil Murphy said outdoor dining will not be impacted by the guidelines.
