1 Person Hospitalized After House Fire In East New York, Brooklyn

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- One person was taken to the hospital after a fire broke out overnight in Brooklyn.

Firefighters were called around midnight to a house on Shepherd Avenue in East New York.

Officials said about 60 firefighters and 12 units responded to the two-story home.

One person was taken to the hospital, and two others refused medical care on the scene.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
