NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — A 92-year-old woman is recovering after being struck by a car in the Bronx.
It happened around 1 p.m. Wednesday on East Tremont and Daly Avenue in the West Farms section.
The woman was in the crosswalk when a black SUV turned the corner, slammed into her and just kept going.
The victim was taken to a local hospital with pain to her neck, back and hip.
Police are searching for the driver.
