Cyclist In Critical Condition After Being Hit By Car On Lower East Side
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - A bicyclist is in critical condition after being struck by a car on the Lower East Side.
It happened around 6:30 p.m. Monday at Delancey and Columbia Streets under the Williamsburg Bridge.
The victim was rushed to Bellevue Hospital.
Police say the driver initially took off, but then returned to the scene and was taken into custody.
