NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — An Uber driver is in critical condition after being attacked by a group of strangers in Jamaica, Queens.

The incident happened just after midnight at 138th Street and Jamaica Avenue on Sunday.

Police said the attack followed an argument over a fare. One person hit the 41-year-old man in the head with a glass bottle.

He was taken to Jamaica Hospital.
