5 Injured, Including 2 Police Officers, After Brooklyn Freight Elevator Collapse

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - Five people including two police officers were hurt after a freight elevator collapsed in Brooklyn.

Chopper 2 was over the scene at a warehouse on 34th Street in Sunset Park.

First responders arrived just after 10:30 a.m.

Police say the elevator collapsed into the basement of the building.

The Department of Buildings says inspectors are responding to the scene.
