Witness Spots Man Yelling For Help In Waters Off Far Rockaway, Search Expected To Resume Sunday
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A search is expected to resume Sunday for a man who disappeared in the waters off Far Rockaway.
Police say a witness reported seeing the man yelling for help near Beach 17th Street and Boardwalk around 9 p.m. Saturday.
The FDNY and NYPD launched search units in the water, and helicopters could be seen flying overhead.
The search was suspended around 10:45 p.m.
