NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – Monday night could be one New York City’s best sunsets of the year, if the weather cooperates.

The spectacle known as “Manhattanhenge” occurs when the sunset lines up with the city’s street grid.

It happens on just two days every spring and summer, and Monday night’s the last one this year.

The Tri-State Area is expecting stormy weather Monday, but there’s a chance the skies could clear up for sunset at 8:27 p.m.
