Mural Honoring DMX Unveiled At Calcagno Houses In Yonkers

YONKERS, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) -- A Yonkers community pays tribute to the late rapper DMX.

A mural was unveiled Tuesday morning at the Calcagno Houses, the public housing complex where he once lived.

The city commissioned Yonkers Arts to restore an existing mural, and residents asked that the restoration include a tribute to DMX.

DMX, whose real name was Earl Simmons, died in April after suffering a heart attack. He was 50 years old.
