Woman Arrested For Alleged Anti-Asian Spitting Incident On Upper West Side

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- The NYPD arrested a woman for a possible anti-Asian hate crime on the Upper West Side.

Police said the suspect spit in a 26-year-old woman's face and made anti-Asian comments.

It happened on July 25 near Broadway and West 60th Street.

Yvonne Yehudah, 31, was charged with aggravated harassment based on race or religion.
