NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — A man was found dead in Central Park on Wednesday morning.
Police say a gardener discovered the 26-year-old Wednesday morning in a wooded area at 65th Street near East Drive. That’s very close to the Central Park Zoo.
According to police, the victim had rope tied around his neck. He is believed to be homeless.
Investigators are treating this case as a homicide. No motive or cause of death have been released.
