NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — Fall road racing is back.

About 8,000 people took part in the New Balance Bronx 10 Mile on Sunday.

Runners raced along the streets of the Concourse section of the Bronx, eventually finishing in front of Yankee Stadium.

The race is used as a tune-up for the TCS New York City Marathon that is scheduled for Nov. 7.
