New Wittpenn Bridge Opens Connecting Jersey City And Kearny
KEARNY, N.J. (CBSNewYork) -- The wait is finally over for drivers in Hudson County.
The new Wittpenn Bridge is now open to traffic.
The bridge spans the Hackensack River, connecting Jersey City and Kearny.
Construction began on the project a decade ago and cost just under $500 million.
